All About Appliances

Configure scanner appliances if you want to scan IP addresses on your internal network. You can add multiple appliances to suit your scanning needs.

Physical Appliances can be deployed directly on the rack in your data center whereas Virtual Appliances can be deployed on a variety of virtualization and cloud platforms. Both physical and virtual appliances can be used to scan virtual and physical targets as long as they're installed in a way that they can reach the target hosts. Offline Appliances are used to scan for vulnerabilities in secure air gap networks that do not have Internet access.
